Our Underdog Rose is made from 100% Cabernet Franc. These Cabernet Franc grapes were harvested for specifically making our Underdog Rose, which means we harvested with the perfect balance of acid, sugar and flavours. The grapes were whole-cluster pressed in our gentle Diemme bladder press and are pumped to tanks for cold settling and clarification before racking to another stainless steel tank for alcoholic fermentation. We decide by taste when to stop the alcoholic fermentation to capture the best flavours and balance. Finally, the wine is racked to a clean tank for stabilizing, fining and filtering before bottling.

A fresh fragrant nose of fresh-picked strawberry, watermelon and citrus fruits. Underlying aromas of springtime blossoms, pomegranate and grapefruit rind.
Fresh, crisp, a very well-balanced rose that is well integrated on the palate. The fresh fruit characters are married with subtle leesy flavours and texture. This wine has a balanced acidity showcasing juicy red fruits including strawberry, pomegranate and
watermelon. The mid-palate is very balanced and smooth, it has a light creaminess and refreshing acidity to support the fruit-driven characters. There are secondary notes of salmonberries, cranberries and grapefruit underlying this fruit-driven rose. This rose is meant for all day! Drink on a patio and pair with fresh summer salads: strawberry and spinach or a fresh goat’s cheese, endive and pomegranate salad.
